Where is Andy?:

Thursday at Wimbledon

Less than 24 hours to go until an historic first Wimbledon semi-final for Andy, and things are all pretty relaxed, unless you're Ross Hutchins.

His nightmare day started about twenty seconds after he shanked a ball on match-point in the day's tennis-football. Sadly for him, that meant playing the next game - in front of the world's media - wearing a Game Set Murray t-shirt, size small.

The smile returned once the forfeit ran out, but he lost another one and teed himself up for 5 minutes in the ice bath: hands in, and squirted by freezing water.

Andy did a quick interview with the BBC as he came off court, and somewhere along the line, the beeb got the wrong end of the stick as to what he was doing next.

They were reporting that Andy was off to do a 400 metre track session (actually it was Miles and Ross), when in fact he was headed to eat (a lot), grab a massage and hit the ice bath.

Not sure there's many players who do 400's the day before a Slam semi-final.

Lunch was pasta, chicken, veggies and a fruit smoothie. Fitness trainer Matt Little came under close scrutiny for his number of helpings...

And had his usual massage with physio Andy Ireland, tapping away on his phone whilst AI did his stuff. Serena's match was on as they headed down to the ice bath.

And the ice bath is where it got really bad for Ross Hutchins. But credit to him, he sucked up his forfeit - 5 minutes with hands in, and freezing cold water squirted by everyone else - and got through it.

Credit is also due to physio Andy Ireland, who stupidly promised he'd go in up to his neck for 30 seconds if Andy made the semis.

He definitely didn't enjoy it, but he did it.

News has just filtered through that Andy won 80-0 at table football tonight. Against Ross Hutchins.
