Austria win tie

There will be no immediate return to the World Group of Davis Cup tennis for Great Britain after Austria won the fifth - and decisive - singles rubber at Wimbledon today.

Defeat for Alex Bogdanovic in his reverse singles rubber against Alex Peya - 2-6 6-4 6-4 6-2 - gave the visitors a 3-2 victory overall.

Earlier, Andy won his reverse singles rubber against Jurgen Melzer 6-4 5-7 6-4 6-1 to take it to a decider.
