Nadal takes victory

Andy's run at Wimbledon has come to an end at the quarter-final stages after falling 6-3 6-2 6-4 to Rafael Nadal.

The world No. 2 said he'd played his best ever match at the Championships, and few would disagree after a near flawless display out on Centre Court.

That aside, Andy leaves SW19 having posted his best ever result at a Slam, and whilst he'll be disappointed with his level in the match, he'll leave the UK with a legion of new fans.
