Wawrinka next up, Wed

Andy will take on Stan Wawrinka for a place in the third round of the Masters series event in Rome, Wednesday.
They're last out on court 1, where play gets underway at midday UK time. Around 16:00-17:00 seems a good bet.
The two players are good mates off the court, so it's unlikely we'll have a repeat of the incident that lit up Andy's first round match against Del Potro.
On the great list of not so clever things to do, saying things about Andy's mum is right up there.
The Opponent

The Swiss No. 2 (...not bad considering) comes off the back of a good tournament in Spain, where he beat Nalbandian 6-3 6-1 en route to the semis where he was undone by David Ferrer.
He came from a set down to set up this encounter, beating Marat Safin 6-7 (5-7) 6-2 6-1.
These two have met twice this year already, and two victories for Andy (including the Doha final) mean their head-to-head record is level at two-all.
You have to go back as far as 2005 to find their only match on clay: Stan taking their Davis Cup match 6-3 7-6 (5) 6-4.
This match constitutes another step up the ladder for Andy: Wawrinka considers clay his best surface, and he's got a great single-handed backhan
Tough match, with Rafael Nadal the likely prize for the winner.
