USO: Monday

Andy plays Marin Cilic in the fourth round of the US Open on Tuesday - second after 12:30mpm, or around 7pm in the UK.
His warm-up probably won't include a hit out on Arthur Ashe, which it did in the hours before the Dent match. Pretty special place as the sun begins to set and the lights come on. Matt Little has a little jog before they start the tennis-football.

And here's the scene some hours later: Andy sticks on a fresh shirt in the player gym before heading down to speak to the press. There's generally a delay of around 30 minutes or so after the match before his media commitments start. It allows him to do a proper warm-down on the exercise bike, not to mention eat some food. On the menu last night were 46 pieces of sushi. He only left a couple.

With Andy gone, the rest of the team caught up on their own exercises. All of them were doing something or other even with the time just shy of 1am. Including coach Miles Maclagan, despite interference from Jez Green.

And so to Monday, where everyone congregated on the practice courts at around 12:30pm, just about enough sleep had between them. Matty Little lost the day's forfeit and had to do the kissing of feet press-up routine in full view of everyone else.

Nothing out of the ordinary today, Andy having a light hit as he normally would do in a tournament.

By the time he'd gotten to the serves, Marin Cilic was on the next court with his guys, and Del Potro (in the yellow) was already leaving.

And a couple of hours later, they were too....

Early back to the hotel, plenty of rest, followed by an early dinner at the sushi restaurant down the road.
They've got a practice court booked ahead of the match tomorrow, as per usual.
