Sunday at Wimbledon

Sunday. Traditional day of rest. A little kickabout with a few friends. We've all done it.
Although in fairness, you probably haven't had out kickabout recorded in detail by a bank of photographers.
That said, they're in their own little world (the forfeits for losing are so steep, it pays to concentrate) and wouldn't notice if Barack Obama walked on court to pick up the balls.

Middle Sunday at Wimbledon, and what an eerie place it is: just a sprinkling of players, and no spectators. Here's Andy reviewing the stats from his last match. Not something he does religiously - they happened to fall out of his bag.

He's been getting plaudits for his movement on the grass this tournament, and the jumps work is beginning to take on a ballatic quality.

He could probably do this with his eyes shut by now....

With Stan Wawrinka (and Roddick) on the adjacent court, they hit for about an hour before heading into the village for some lunch. Coach Miles Maclagan paid the bill thanks to picking up the big forfeit.
And from there to the NTC in Roehampton, for the now customary massage and ice bath.
The hydrotherapy pool is nice and warm, and as soon as they're out of the cold water, they'll jump straight in here.

If you're wondering why they're laughing, it's because physio Andy Ireland is making his ice bath entrance. And that's pretty funny.
