Where is Andy?:

Boodles

So Andy won his match at Stoke Park today: 6-3 5-7 12-10 versus Janko Tipsarevic. Decent match, and Andy spoke positively about his thumb in the on court interview afterwards. Can't see it being an issue for Wimbledon, and nor can the BBC.

Nice event Boodles, if you haven't been...

As I write, Andy's downstairs in the gym doing an upper body session with Jez Green and Matt Little; it's that time of year, so an exo match isn't going to stop the work getting done.

Player box was in a nice position today, enjoyed by Matt and Jez...

Highlight of the day had to be the transport from Aorangi (where Andy was hitting in the morning) to Stoke Park. Don't see many local taxi companies roling these things out...

Closest Jez is coming to one of those for a while...

Wasn't much time for a warm-up after arriving, so Andy was straight into the gym to get loose...

Good bit of banter with Matt. Just for a change...

And that was that - out to the court, and job done.

Quite a busy day all in...

The guys trained at Aorangi in the morning, sandwiched between Maria Sharapova and Jelena Jankovic.

Dani impressed Sharapova so much (in a tennis sense, if nothing else) that she's asked him to be her hitting partner tomorrow.

Tough gig. Sadly for him this morning, he had to make do with Andy instead. The guys hit for an hour or so, and everything seemed fine with the thumb.

Tim Henman popped down to say hello on his way to a meeting. Bit weird to see him out of tennis clothes at this time of year.

Same can't be said of Treacle's forehand sadly....

Still, whenever he picks up a racquet it always gets a smile from Andy...

Andy got back from the gym (and a few interviews) at about 6pm, but this being Stoke Park, he went to hit some golf balls with Dani.

View from the first tee?....

Straight down the middle...

More tomorrow...
